| Can I speak to the manager? Alun and Susanne think there is some confusion about their budget | ||
Encl: returned cheque Dear Anthony There seems to have been some confusion regarding our budget for the cancelled project. According to our contract with the Office of Anb Matter (please find a copy enclosed) there was a budget for £500.00. From this budget we allocated a nominal fee for Alexander Brener and Barbara Schurz of £200.00. The remainder of the budget we put towards publishing the document/ invite. The shortfall of £97.00 was to be covered by us. We emphasised the importance of the document (which would be issued prior to the events) to Roman during a meetng at Wilkes Street. Having explored omer opbons presented to us, most of which were postproject, we informed Roman of our intenbons. You menbon in your letter that we failed to menbon the cost unbl after the prindng. This is incorrect. We informed Roman of the printng costs and printers we would use at the beginning of March, before we forwarded the actual quote on the 6 March. In an email dated 13.03.01 Roman explained there was no separate budget for a gatefold invite Vunless you use the £300 remaining in your core budget (£500) once you have given B&S their allocation of f200.V After considerabon, we informed Roman, and this is exactly what we did. The events planned were low impact and we had already arranged to borrow any equipment etc. needed. The importance of the publicabon for us was reflected in our contribubon to its costs. The cheque for £141.00 is erroneous. The sum, as you menbon in your letter, refers to the printng costs incurred by the INS. This bears no relabon to our project and budget. We hope you will honour our contract and correct this matter as a soon as possible. Regards, |
