The Colour House Theatre, London
Siberia
Lyonsdale Productions are reviving Siberia, by Felix Mitterer, one of Austria’s most distinguished contemporary dramatists, translated by Patrick Drysdale and Michael Lyons. The one-man play compares an old man’s life in a residential home to the Siberian prisoner-of-war camp where he was imprisoned during the Second World War. His monologue is a brilliant series of anecdotes, diatribes, and imaginary conversations.
